To burn more calories :
1) Sit instead of lying down
2) Stand instead of sitting
3) Walk instead of standing still

4) Run instead of walking ?
isn't that there on the list? Well what ever u suggested is some thing that looks more like exsercise and nothing else. Which is suggested by every one for loosing some calories.

Those are some good reminders when we sit at our computers all day!
I hace started to take a half an hour out of each day to dance around like a crazy person with my kids...it is burning lots of calories apparently because i am starting to lose weight from it!!
I was also so very skinny when i worked in retail because i was standing 8 hours a day and walking probably 3 miles around the store, lol.

To burn more calories? I'd say EXERCISE. Give at least 30 minutes of your time to work that muscles and burn the calories.

dear skyblue to burn more calories mean to do the exercise. If you want to burn calories you must do the followings: cycling, swimming and yogasan for 30 mnts each. Swimming and cycling are most effective to burn more calories.

I like that it is true, you will burn more calories with each step you mentioned, I could have added on to that instead of walk run, or job, or do squats.

I would love to burn more claories. I work seven days a week online and it is very hard for me to do. I can sit instead of laying down but I cannot stand and work online. I have a desktop computer and I have to sit to use it. I never stand still. I am always on the go doing something.
