Do you work in a city far away from your home? And how often do you go home?

In the company i work at, there are many employees who come from other province. Many of them go back home only once or twice for a year. I can understand that, but i always wonder if the work could give us much more than the close relationship with parents could give? I love my family very much and I insist on working at a place not so far away from home so that i can go back home often. I call my mother almost every day and I enjoy that. What about you?

Fortunately my office is not far away from my home. It takes me about half an hour on foot going to work everyday. So it is like an exercise to me. And therefore I can go home everyday after work. If I want, I can even go home at noon but it's somewhat in a hurry.
I love China

Hi, youless.
That's very lucky of you. I've noticed that you live in Guangzhou, a big city with pretty high price of house. Many people couldn't afford the house near to their working place which is usually located in the business centre. So, you're really lucky! And do you mean you live with your parents here? Or you refer home here to your own home?

Well,I am lucky enough that the place I work is quite near from my home!
I love my job,but I love my family the most!so,I can't stand living far away from home just for earning much money. In that way,no one could share with me the happiness,I may feel depressed although I may have lots of money!
However, lots of my friends do go to other places to get a better job.Actually, most of them are not that happy nowadays, you know, the big pressure, with no one to share...
So,I am so happy now since I can meet my loved family everyday!
