How easily influence are you by others choices?

By this I mean anything, from dress sense, to likes and dislikes. I've found that as I have got between friend groups that some people seem to always be 'following the crowd' and doing everything they're friends do. This isn't a bad thing necessarily but I just wanna see other peoples opinions on this.

I try to be an individual and to choose what I wear and what I do because they are what I like and not because of what everyone else is wearing or doing.
I see it too often. The latest gadget comes out and everyone thinks they must have it. They stand in line waiting for the store to open. I would rather not have it.
