At what age do children be given cell phones ?

Can we buy one for our school going children below 15 years of age these days..

My father gave me a mobile when i was 18 years old when i was just about to enter my college. I personally think giving mobiles to school going children spoils their concentration on studies.

I think we should not buy a cell phone for a school going childern. It really effect on his/her studies. Best age of having a cell phone is 20 or over 20. This is only my opinion. I can be wrong but i don't like cell phone for teenagers.

I think we don't need to give them cell phones. Besides that, parents should train them to have a modest life, in order not to show off their property. their friends wll also not be jealous to him/her.
