Most people laught when they see some body stuttters. They can't help it. I really don't know what's so funny about it. How would you feel if you were in that person shoes. not fun, it is. Stutters don't like when people finish a sentence for them. People react strangely when somebody who stutters is asking them a question or talking to them. They treat you as if you were mentally retarted. Stuttering is better then not being able to talk at all. Stuttering can cause low self-esteem and poor social skill. Most stutterers fear talking because they think people will judge them and ridicule them.

I would never laugh at someone stuttering. That makes it all the worse. The best thing to do is ignore it and carry on a normal conversation. James Earl John stutters when he's not acting, interestingly. He found that when speaking memorized lines, he didn't stutter. He has such a beautiful voice.

OMG No i have never, thank god, been unfortunate enough to meet a person rude enough to laugh at someone who stutters, that is the most destroying thing you can ever do.
My partners brother has a stutter and I can assure anyone out there who thinks stuttering is something to be laughed at that the last thing he would ever need is someone laughing at him when it happens, what he needs is patience from the other person to allow him to relax and finish his sentence!
