Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relation

I am a Chinese undergraduate majoring in English.
My thesis is about mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relation in China and US.
My dear friends, would you like talk about this topic?
1. do you think you are dealing well with your mother-in-law /daughter-in-law?
2. if you do, could you give some suggestions?
3. if you don't, which personality of your mother/daugher-in-law do you most hate?

I am Indian but if you can you consider my feelings for your education. Basically when a mother becomes mother in-law, can't accept daughter as daughter in-law, why because only the main reason is not having broad mind, some times with both, because for every individual we have a certain level of tolerance if it crosses problems starts.
