If marriages made in heaven, why divrce?

I dont believe about "marriages made in heaven". Finding a worthy relationship is as difficult as keeping one. Marriage is not a bed of roses,those roses still have their thorns that might hurt you sometimes. There will be times when one or both of you feels like giving up and wanting to be out of the relationship, times when partners dont seem to understand each other and as a result, one would say something that unintentionally hurt the other´s feelings. There is no such things as perfect relationship, and it is only us who can make this imperfect relationship somehow perfect by learning to accept these limitations and weaknesses of each other. Divorce is only for those couples who give up the battle of trying to compromise for the sake of their marriage. If people could only learn to accept the fact marriage has its own set of trials to battle, that couples should try to face and win these battles together and not separately, then we might have lesser rate of divorce in the future. I am married for three years now and i can say that the trails come and go every now and then , it makes me weak at times, but that doest push me to the ponit where i would have divorce to end these trials... hey life itself is full of trials right ?

I do not believe that marriages are made in heaven. They are a lot work and commitment! Marriage can be blessed by God but are not made in heaven.

Even if marriage are made in heaven. doesn't mean the person you choose is the right one for you. Marriage is a good concept but if you don't work at or choose the wrong partner, it can not be one made in heave.

Good one.. Yes I agree that they say that Marriages are made in heaven, but sometimes people get so impatient, that they end up marrying someone who would not be a perfect partner to them. They eventually tend to find someone at last, and then live happily ever after. Now law states that Polygamy is illegal. So we have Divorce. To break the so called marriage with the first person we have a divorce system. bourne
