I used to spend much time with jigsaw puzzles. My aunt based in Sydney, Australia loves sending me boxes of jigsaw puzzles. I have completed some of them while I still have the others in their boxes untouched. There are times when I feel like working on these jigsaw puzzles and there are also times when I lose my patience on these jigsaw puzzles. I have had my completed jigsaw puzzles framed.
Are you patient with jigsaw puzzles? Have you completed any?

I do have a friend who was able to make money from doing jigsaw puzzles. What he does is buy jigsaw puzzles with great pictures. He completes the puzzle, have it framed and then sell them. He has customers who would buy the puzzles themselves and he will work on it, have it framed and delivered to the customers.

I am fairly patient with jigsaw puzzles if i have enough time to spare to work them. I haven't had time to work any recently because I have to make sure to get my work done online daily and my housework. I also have to make time for my husband and daughter and cook and do the bills too. Summer is almost here and I want to get outside and work in the yard and go swimming also. Doing puzzles is fun in the winter time for me.

I love jigsaw puzzles. Guess that is something I inherited from my dad. He use to do puzzles all the time. He would sit for hours. My mom use to get after him because there were a lot of nights we sat and ate in the floor in front of the tv because dad had a puzzle on the table lol. I find them to be stress relieving. I can sit and relax and work on a puzzle and really enjoy myself.

Yes I love them and I think they are so fun! Sometimes I have the patience and sometimes I don't. Usually I would be so focused on completing them when I have the patience to do it. I have completed one so far and I felt great success. But I don't tend to like spending money on buying jigsaw puzzles on my own. The one I completed was a gift from someone!

Jigsaw puzzles are very expensive here in the Philippines especially those of good quality and with great pictures. That is why I really appreciate it when they are given as gifts.

My granny got me hooked on jigsaw puzzles when I was young. Everytime I would visit her she had a puzzle out on a card table working on it. When she would visit, puzzle out on table. I love them and I am very patient while working on them. I have to admit I haven't worked on one in quite some time. When I have one going it seems like everyone takes part in it which I love. My granny taught me which I in turn taught my kids, always pick out the side pieces first and put the frame together. haha

I would build puzzles many times as a child, but now don't have the time. Its sad that I don't schedule in time for them. They were so much fun to build.

I have puzzles all over my walls that hubby and i completed before we had children lol. We glued them to poster boards. They are all either wizards or dragons. we both really like them both. We have patience for them, me more so then him. i love puzzles, but its hard to do them when you ahve small kids! they like to eat the pieces and there is not too many places in my apartment that i could do them without my first born reaching them and hiding the peices!

It must really be hard to work on a puzzle with small kids around... Well, you can continue with your puzzles when the kids are a little older. Or, you can probably buy them their own puzzle so they could have something to work on too...

i you know my dear i am a very busy woman so i dont have lots of time to sit down and figure a puzzle out but.... my son has a talent for this. when he was just three years old i have a puzzle of james dean that i bought abroad. yes i am a james dean fan. it has 1000 interlocking pieces so it would really take more than a week to finish it. since my son is just three years old back then i told him not to touch what ive started because it was not that easy to do it. one night he went to bed early. earlier than he used to go, and without me knowing he woke up early and finished my puzzle. i was really very happy and shocked at the same time. he was just three years old. i couldnt even believe my eyes. to test him my sister bought another puzzle Toy Story (one of his favorite cartoons) and it only took him two days to finish. have you seen the new style of puzzle? the one that looks like the logo og wikipedia. a round ball like puzzle? we have that too. that dont have a lot of pieces but it is kind of tricky to make.

Not if I do it with someone. I am not that patient with jigsaw puzzles. The pieces are often too small. Big pieces are often only for jigsaw puzzles for kids. I wish I have enough motivation to complete a jigsaw puzzle!

I'm quite patient with jigsaw but what my family before did was , we put the puzzle on the table intended for the puzzle and we just do it during our spare time. we finish a 1000-piece in more than a week. It is more fun to do it that way than to do it in one setting.

When I was studying, I did solve some jigsaw puzzles but not the one that's too complicated. I was not fond of it, just did it for fun and sometimes out of boredom. I remember that I was patient while I was on the process of completion.

I am patient with jigsaw puzzles if it is not a complicated one. But if it is like the size of a table, I would just pass. I prefer to work on crossword puzzles instead.

I love jigsaw puzzles, but sometimes like you I just loose patience with them and will not work on any for a few weeks or so. I have quite a few that I have glued together, framed, and made wall hangings out of. I don't have quite as much time for them since we have kids - the kids just don't seem to like the puzzles much, they get mad at them and want to throw them away!

I always wish to try but to be honest I never find time to do it! I have priorities and doing this is out of the list. I appreciate others who have that patience and time to do it and every time I am giving gifts to friend's kids or my cousins, I will always include jigsaw puzzle because I want them to develop positive attitude which can you get from this activity..If only I can go back to my childhood moment, I will really demand my parents to buy me a lot! hahhahaha

If I am in the mood for them I'll do them. If I'm not, then my interest doesn't last very long and then I end up giving up after 20 minutes or so.

In my household, we do jigsaw puzzles all the time, but we usually only do the 1000-piece cartoon ones like those found here http://www.jigsawgallery.com/details.php?refnum=G509. We complete like 50 puzzles a year. These cartoon ones are really fun to do. They are especially good for my 86 year old mother-in-law who stays with us. Doing jigsaws is one of the few things that stimulate her mind, and she particularly loves the cartoon types. In our home, we have more than 100 boxes of such jigsaws sitting in our cupboards. We bought most of all these types of puzzles that we could find that are sold in our country, so last year we sourced the internet and bought 16 boxes of cartoon jigsaws from jigsawgallery.com through mail order. They are the good brands like Clementoni, Gibsons, Falcon, Heye, Ravensburger and Jumbo. I don't know if there are any other families here that have 100+ boxes of these cartoon puzzles sitting in their home.

I started to like jigsaw puzzle about 15 years ago. Until now I have completed about 20 puzzles ranging from 500 pcs to 2000 pcs.. Sometimes i also get impatient on jigsae puzzles if they're too difficult. What I'll do is keep it aside for a period and revisit it later.
