sport for peace

many people like sport, its good for our healthy and we can join with everyone, met everyone, and communicate with everyone, we can get new friends in there, but can sport bring a peacefulness on the world? like olimpiade, world cup, etc

Sport is great.
Sport is a contest of physical skill where the same rules apply to all, and does not discriminate on the basis of wealth, race, religion, gender or politics.
Therefore it is known as the great leveler.
Politics is the opposite.
Politics is a contest of mental skill where you try to be superior to everyone else, you can bend the rules, and there's always something about wealth, race, religion, gender and policies to be said.
Clashes in values means that sport and politics should not mix.
When politics corrupts sport, it is no longer the great leveler.

yes i agree, just like football, can unity all people from another country and played on one club

I think sports can do that. I believe that is what the Olympics can do. Bring together people from different parts of the world. Show people that while customs may be different, we are all still people. And that is what counts. Peace is a slow process.

yes I think so ,though many people think politics should not comfused with sports ,but we everyone must admire that sport is peacefull and it can take us more lelaxness.
