I am a member there but have not done anything with them at all. I do all of my writing at Mylot. I don't have much time for any other sites for writing right now. I love to spend time with all of my friends here. It takes alot of time out of my day.

Oh don't I know about it sucking the time out of your day!! I do like it here a lot better.
Oh, you should stop into Gather and see the changes! It is either a nice surprise or a horror. For me, I have not decided what it is yet.
The change is that your "my gather" tab is just a news feed now. It is not about your account and articles relevant to you according to group membership and friends like it used to be. There is news feeds according to friends, your groups and there is a random feed (instead of the search feature).

I am a member of gather too. Though I don't go there much...I go there here and there like I do on here anymore. With being on dial up right now, I just can't do as much as I normally had. I miss being able to go there though. I have to admit I have a hard time finding a settle point at gather like I had here.

I've been a member there for about a year and I've already gotten one gift card. But, I don't go there that much anymore because I really don't like to write whole articles. Also, I can really only focus on one or two writing sites at a time. I also have two groups, one of which I keep an eye on because people are always trying to post inappropriate articles there. I sometimes pop in from time to time to check in on some friends. But, otherwise, it's not my main writing site.

I've been a member there for over a year. Last month, when I got my new(er) faster computer, I was able to get enough points to qualify for the cash option. But I still have not gotten an invitation. Since the "upgrade???" I haven't been very active, nor have any of my connections.

Note: I did get the invitation for cash option about April 22. Because I had only sent for one gift card in a year, I had $220 in my account when it changed from points to cash! Yippee! Since then, I have cashed in for $15, $10 and $10. (I'm trying to cash out every week.)

I've been on Gather for a year. I really like it. Im not fond of the newest ugrades, though. I find I am not spending as much time there as I used to becuase of them.
I'm new here and trying to get the hang of things. I'm still not so sure about it all. I'm not really here for the $. I like the discussions, writing and photography on Gather.
