Feeling a little blue? I just read an article and it says there are ten fast and easy ways to smile and cheer you up.Here it goes: 1. Play outside Leave your apartment and go outside. Sun and fresh air are good for you. This is very good pick-me-up for me,I take a walk and get some fresh air every time I'm upset. The green trees and beautiful flowers makes me feel really refreshing! 2. Exercise When you exercise, your brain releases a chemical called endorphins. This chemical makes you feel happier. To be frankly,I am a lazy bone, don't exercise much. 3. Have a Heart-to-Heart If something is bothering you, it is a good idea to talk about it. Call a friend or relative. A good chat is great way to feel better fast. Yep,I totally agree with this tip, heart to heart comfort me and makes me feel relieved. 4. Play Pop Music Westlife, Backstreet Boys, S.H.E…who doesn’t like a little mindless pop? Listening to upbeat, happy music will make you smile. 5. Laughter is the best medicine Laughing is the best way to improve your mood. Be a kid for a day: play games, watch funny movies, or read jokes online. 6. Power of Chocolate Chocolate has special natural chemicals that make you happy. Plus, it tastes so good! But I don't like it very much,it makes me fat. 8. Get a dog Dogs are cute, energetic, and fun. Studies show that people with pets live longer and people with dogs live the longest! Maybe I will get a dog, anyway dog is cute and loyalful. They never betray you even the whole world walks away. 9. Breathe If you can’t go to the gym, try taking deep breaths. Breathing deeply will relax your muscles and give you energy. 10. Think positive Close your eyes and think of a beautiful scene or a time when you were happy and feeling good. This is really a great way.I like it,and I am happy most of the time.Staying positive makes your life much easier even it you have no money in your pocket. So,my friends How do these ten ways work out for you?

I have done several of these things already and it does help. I have been letting my work consume all of my time and I did not know if I was coming or going. I got very down on mylself and had to force myself to take time just for me. It has really helped me to feel alot better also. I have made time to get outside, exercise, time to speak with my husband about what bothers me, listen to music, laugh with my husband, and eat chocolate snack cakes as usual, LOL. I have owned my dog for ten years now. I have made more time to get more rest also. I try to always think positive but sometimes it cannot be helped to think other ways when things go astray.

these are all great ways for sure, I love the laughing one because there is nothing that makes you more happy than a heart felt laugh and you are releasing endorphins when you do that as well.

Break FREE! - Take the moment to relax..

We are just taking the moment.
Wow! This is really helpful and thank you for sharing. Yes, I will take a moment to each of them each day and cheer myself up. That was indeed helpful. I may not complete it all but few of them will really help a lot. That was kind and nice to share. Cheers!

I would agree on some of the points like excersing it does make you feel very good. I try and go running at least three times a week, sometimes it is hard to get out there but I always come back glad I made the effort. Chocolate, I can take it or leave it. I think because I was a child just after the war when rationing was around and no sweets to speak of I do not like chocolate that much. In fact I cannot remember the last time I had any, the real treat back in the 50's was a stick of rhubarb with a little bag of sugar

I like these ways to enjoy my life and have more energy! I use cocoa, it has the same good chemicals, but it does not make you fat! Just add it to your baked goods, add oil instead of butter, or just use it with powdered sugar (confectioners sugar) to mix it with peanut butter for a great taste and treat! I sometimes mix it with ground flax seed, since it is better for you than wheatgerm and cheaper too! We definitely need to laugh more often!

Well, I do not just go out for a walk if I am feeling down, although I do enjoy walking and yes it does make you feel good when you have been for a walk, I do love to exercise though and will often do this if I am feeling a little low, I tend to put some music on that I like and then just have a really good dance and it always makes me feel really good after. So looking at these ten ways I would say that most of these would work for me, apart from the pets one as although I like pets I do not want any!!
