I cried... my bestfriend's got to be operated

I cried so hard that I don't know how to feel when I heard the news that my bestfriend's has to be operated with her ear. This is so unusual. She's not that type that surrenders.. She is so brave, so clever and she's the bestfriend I have. But when she told me that her ear got infected and it's in stage 1, I felt her weakness and she was so down. The doctor told her that it might get into the nerves of her brain and might cause meningitis. I was so shocked! How do I stop the pain within me? I can feel her heart grieve for this phenomenon. We were not expecting this to be so malignant but it is. All I have to do is to comfort her everyday just to make her feel comforter. But we trust that God is in control over everything and it will be possible that no matter how malignant is this, it will have a total healing and soon all things will get back to normal.
