This saturday, I & my hubby planning to go back to my hometown for about 3 weeks. All things for this traveling already been packed. The only problem left is my kitten? Where I should keep her? We have asked for transit hotel for pet, but they are so messy & expensive, so would please give me an idea?

Even I faced this problem. Then my daughter took care of it by applying leave. My friend left the cat for a day in the flat itself. Of course food, water, litter box were there.

A pet is a responsibility. When you get a pet, you have to think beforehand what you would do if you went away. It is not something to think about "last minute" on what you will do when going away. if you are going to your hometown and staying with relatives, why not put her in a cat carrier and take her with you. Just when you are at the relative's house keep her in your bedroom with the door closed and a litter box there when you leave so she doesn't escape the house. Or borrow a large dog crate and set up a nice playpen with her litter box in there. You can get a pet sitter to come look in on her every day. You cannot leave a kitten alone that long. They would come to your house every day, feed her, and make sure she has water, and play with her a little.

If you find a good place to keep her it should not be too bad. Our vet charges $12/day and they offer really large cages and kitty condos lol
