Here I thought I was eating so healthily, then I stumble across some important information concerning my copper intake. Seems most women are copper toxic. (too much copper in ratio with zinc) I looked into my diet and realized nearly everything I had been eating those several weeks was full of copper...grapes, almonds, shrimp, crab meat, mushrooms, pecans, chocolate, peanut butter... seems one of the signs of copper toxicity is the craving of more copper kind of foods. Another clear indication to too much copper are brown spots on the face and hands, which most attribute to age (ie age spots) ... but, I am too young for age spots...so No More Crab meat for me...no more chocolate... I'm gonna have to switch to steak, and apple pie. How's that for a healthy change?
