celebrating your birthday this summer....

im celebrating my 23rd birthday next month... but i don't have any idea on how and where will i celebrate my day... since its summer i want to have a swimming party or go out of town trip with my friends... but.... still i have a prob... i dont know where to find a budget-friendly trip here in the philippines... i want a place where you can bond and relax with your friends... any suggestions.. thanks in advance....

Hi there! I will also celebrate my birthday this summer -- I will be 28 on May 13. This year, I plan to do it out of town, and my plan is to go back packing up north. I will first go to my dad's hometown in La Union, stay the night and come tomorrow morning I will head to Vigan, Ilocos Norte to stay the whole day. Come night, I will go to Laoag and probably get a room to rest and freshen up. The next day, I will check the spots in Laoag then head to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte where I will celebrate my birthday. Like you, I also am on a tight budget, that's why the only time I will spend in a hotel (or a small inn if I can find any) will be in Laoag and Pagudpud. My brother told me there's a dorm style hostel in Pagudpud costing 250 pesos per person. Overall, I think I will shell out 5,000 pesos for this tip. Still an on-the-budget celebration, considering that other trips would cost double than that. I will be with my siblings. Sadly, none of my friends can come.

hi... advance happy burtdey... my birthday is on may10.. :) going to pagudpod and vigan was our first plan... but i dont think our plan will pursue... coz me and my friends our first timer there...so were not familiar to the place and our schedule can't permit us to have 2 to 3 days vacation. :( i just want to ask... how will you go there? by bus or you do have your own car? thats also our prob.. anywayz... thanks for the suggestion... btw.. there is an island called potipot island in zambales... i saw the picture and its beautiful... the beach has white sand... and very affordable.. Advance Happy Birthday!!! it would depend on your budget and where exactly are you in Philippines? i would suggest resorts in Laguna. there's a lot of host springs that you could enjoy there. try Caliraya, its one of the greatest place in Laguna. they have lots of activities that you can do with your friends. another place is in 100 Islands. my friend said that they only spend 1000 per person. its a very nice place where you can spend with your friends. you can ask a island just exclusive for you and your friends. Pueto gallera is also a nice place to go. 1500 is enough for one person. you can ask your friends to pay for their fare.. and you'll be the one who'll spend of the cabin or cottage and the food.. hope this helps... happy Birthday again... and enjoy..

hi there... thanks sa greetings.. :) thanks for the suggestion... im from manila, las pinas to be specific... i heard that caliraya is a nice place but i never been there... hhhmmm.. puerto galera.. i went there last month, we enjoyed our stay there... we went island hopping and snorkling... but it quite crowded... 100 island?!? hhhmmm...not bad... but is it easy to go there if your just riding a bus? i think renting a private pool in laguna is also great... we ask for the price... its kinda expensive its 5k overnight if its weekend and 3800k if weekdays.. anywayz... thanks again...

hello... yep.. Philippines has many tourist spots... but i can't think of any... anywayz... thanks for your suggestion.. i think my birthday will be special if im spending the whole day with my friends...

first of all, let me be the one to greet you an advance happy birthday and may you now have plan where to celebrate it . Why not have some party at home and invite friends to come over so that you will celebrate your important day with the important person in your life ... your family and friends . I think hmmmm,family's role for you is so important ... Have fun . mwah:)
