What are the best things to beat boredom!!?

Now, I am in the house, so hot, and just doing nothing except typing. lol. But, if my sister replaces me in the computer seat I find myself sitting on a chair guarding our store. Take note: it's summer, the roof is metallic, it's like you're in the oven waiting for the bell to ring and say you're cooked. I do some texting, but it's really not enjoying. I hate this place. Boredom just kills me everyday!

being bored is boring. I find myslef counting things, which occupies you for a while, before being bored again. Doing something creative is a good way of stopping boredom, as it really engages you and gets you thinking.
Anyone got any suggestions about what to do when you can't make something creative and productive...?

At present, I rarely get bored because I've got a lot to do not only here in the office but at home as well mainly because I'm already married and I'm not only concerned with myself anymore. But before, particularly when I was still unattached, there were a lot of times when I get bored at home. And during these times, I indulge to writing short novels, letters, and poems, reading books, magazines, Archie comics, surfing the internet, crocheting, watching tv shows particularly those I've missed because of hectic work schedules, stuff or hobbies like these.
If myLot had been already active then, I guess it would take a lot of my spare time because not only do I enjoy responding to discussions but it somehow educates me, too.
Anyway, if you're pretty bored today, I guess you'd find some of your hobbies worth doing, especially the ones you've neglected for a long time. Regards.

You know what I was in mylot three years ago and I was earning a lot but I confesses I was 15 then but now I just turned 18 recently and go back to mylot but unfortunately Paypal isn't available in my country, Philippines(hope mylot would help). Anyway, you read archie comics, my sister really does llove that comics. I write poems but not short stories and now I enjoy doodling and drawing stuff in my noteook when I am bored. thanks for the reply, you earn my best response after 2 years!!^^

The best way to beat boredom is to engage yourself with something that is interesting to you .You could learn new things and equip yourself for the journey ahead because time is a precious commodity and once lost never get get it back.
