Which is your favorite festival?Christmas,Thanksgiving,Easter,Hanukkah?
In China, New Year is the most important festival of the year, which is also known as the Spring Festival.
We set off firecrackers and fireworkers to ring out the old year and celebrate the coming year.Families dine together on New Year's Eve and stay up very late.We make dumplings at New Year's Eve,and eat it at 12 o'clock and the first day of New Year.
Most people return to their homes to celebrate New Year with their families,as a tradition. We buy new clothes to wear during the Spring Festival.Children receive red envelopes with money from their elders during New year, when they visit their elders.
I remember when I was a little kid,I always hoped Spring Festival to come, then I would have new clothes to wear, delicious food to eat and get the red envelops with money from relatives. But now,as I grow older,Spring Festival seems not that joyous as before.Maybe it's because the lever of live has gone up,we can eat anything we want ,wear new clothes any time we want,so Spring Festival seems not that special as before.
I'm done. So,let's hear something form you.

For me,definately the spring festival!
Although there are so many fesrivals nowadays,no matter they are from China,or any other places,I do love Spring Festival, since it is our traditional culture, and I treasure that so much!
Besides,it is always the only time all my family could get together, well, there are 18 people in my big family,so,I cherish every opportunity to be with the whole family!

Christmas was always my favourite, from being a child right through to a couple of years ago. It was always so special, even more so when I started having children I would plan out each christmas as soon as one had ended! The last couple of years things have happened that have taken some of the shine off things for me and I have found it hard to get back into the swing of things, I will get back to it eventually but it has been hard.

I absolutely love Halloween. I cannot wait until my daughter is old enough to go trick or treating. We will take her this year she will be 11 months I know she'll be too young to eat all that candy but it will be a lot of fun!!

I guess my favourite holiday would be christmas, we used to have big family gatherings. It was really fun, we ate at midnight a big buffet It is called a reveillon here in quebec. Some people went to midnight mass, and the children opened up their presents at midnight as well.

I like all the holidays, but i do love the spring festival! While it is true that we can wear new clothes whenever we want, and eat dumplings or get a haircut anytime, we do not visit with family whenever we want to nor do we see the dragons and parade the way we do during spring festival!

my favourite festival is diwali in hinduism.it's a festival of light.here you exchange gifts with your friends and families and also get to eat a lot of delicacies specially made for the festival.the best part is the shopping.you buy new clothes for yourself and the new stuff for the home decoration and all.people visit and friends celebrate.it's a festival of joy and of triumph of goodness over evil.
