Does anyone write letters anymore?

I have to say that I can't remember the last time I actually wrote a letter. It's just so much easier to email or pick up the phone. It does save on stamps but I like the personal touch of a handwritten letter. Agree or disagree?

Yes I do write letters to friends because I find it more personal, and I think it takes more of an effort to write a letter. And of course I love getting a letter by snail mail - an actual letter instead of a bill/account that is. LOL

When i was in highschool days, i really love writing letters...I can still remember writing a lot of letters to penpals of other countries lol. But now that email is more popular, i got lazy to write even a short letter but i do when my boyfriend request for it=)

I don't write letters anymore either, but my daughter writes to her friend all the time, since we moved away, they don't get to see each other no more.

I still write actual letters, although not as often as I used to years ago before email became such a hit. But, I like to make cards and send handwritten notes. I agree with you that the personal touch of a handwritten letter is nice. I think it's also important to the person receiving it. They know that in today's world, you must really care or had them on your heart because you took the time to send it via snail mail. Thanks for asking, I haven't written one lately and it helped remind me that I need to and WHY I do that from time to time.

I love handwritten letters. The last one I wrote was maybe 2-3 weeks ago. I wrote a letter to my boyfriend & sent it with a few other things. When he was at bootcamp we wrote letters to eachother too (although that was the only form of communication at the time.)
A good thing to do when writing a letter to your boyfriend, spray some of your perfume on it! It lasts & they really love it!
