I think I'm choosing the job that I interested even it has low salary.
I'm starting with learning, working and get paid. Now I'm working, learning and get paid more. Maybe in another 5 years to go I'll be working, training, mentoring and get paid much more.
It is okay to have interesting job first with low salary. It is our first step to improve our quality and improve our income.

I would probably choose the lower paying job because I would be afraid of leaving a job I didn't like. At least the lower paid one would be enjoyable and it may be possible to work my way up to a better salary, whereas with the higher paid one, I have done jobs I don't like (not high paid though) and I don't think any amount of money would make up for some horrible jobs.

When I was young, I will choose a low-pay but interesting job. But now I value the financial factor. Therefore, if possible, I will work on a high-pay, but less interesting job. The inflation rate is so high and the value of money is dwindling. Working for higher is just able to fulfill basic needs. It's so frustrating!

I would always go for the job that I like even if it pays less. I would hope to be able to advance later though in my earnings. I have worked at several places and some of the jobs paid well but the people drove me crazy. I would much prefer to work at a place that I liked, even if I had to work two jobs to make up for the loss in pay.
