Years ago I gave a $20 to this family asking for help on the road at the light even tho they were dressed nice. Sometimes you can not tell the hardships of someone by there out side cover. The other day this guy bought his food in our drive thru window and said to also charge the food for the guy behind him, well I thought they were family or something, the next guy drove up and gave me money for his meal and I told him the man in front of you already took care of it and he said I don't even know him, And I said maybe it is his good deed for the day. He was happy.
The man who paid his meal was $3.60 and the man behind him his meal was about $7.00. I thought that was very nice and makes me want to continually do good deeds for people even if it is saying something nice to someone to make there day happy. :)

Yes this is true. Many will do something for someone and tell the whole world look what I have done I am so great. But the most loving thing you can do for a person, I believe is be a good listener, with out judgement. Thanks for being there for all of us. That is why I like this site myLot we can be there for each other even if it is on the other side of the world!

I have not done many good deeds in my life but there was this one girl who i helped. she was a fifteen year old who had been raped by a friends dad. although she didn't even think that it was considered rape he was 45 years old and she thought that because she was 15 that it was ok. she didn't report it until i explained the rules of "the age of consent". she didn't consent to it but thought that because she had been flirting with him that maybe that gave him the right. I explained that flirting is not consent and that even if it were she was not of legal age to consent to that in any way shape or form. also after she reported it 15 other girls including the man's own daughter reported him for the same acts. I am now happy to say he is behind bars and will be there for a very long time. The two friends remain friends even after all the drama.

Wow, That is so wonderful. A lot of poeple don't get involved these days. You should be so proud of your self. You also prevented how many more girls from going through that. That was truly a great deed!
