Howdy fellow myLotters,
I have just written a new Helium article. If anyone has the time I would love some feedback. I am not really sure on the best way to end this one. At the moment it is like the braked have just suddenly been slammed on!
Please offer any suggestions you may have

Sorry I took so long to get to this.
I liked your article, and I agree. I introduced my son to a spoon and cup very early, and he became comfortable with them, which made it easier to learn how to use them. Plus it lessens resistance that can happen when they are introduced later- when they have started to assert some of that 'toddler' type of independence. You know, the stamp your feet and refuse because it's what Mommy wants you to do.
Anyway, the only advice I can offer is that there are a few missing commas. When considering whether you need a comma or not, I find it helpful to read the sentence aloud. Wherever there is a natural pause in your speaking, insert a comma.
For example: 'For some babies an early introduction to solids is necessary as milk is not always filling for their growing body.' There should be a comma after 'necessary,' since that is where you would naturally have a break when speaking.
In the paragraph beginning- 'Chances are...' the first 2 sentences should be combined into one, since the second is a fragment.
Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!
Hope this helps.
