We bought our house in south west France last year and although we do not live there full time yet, we visit at every opportunity. The sheer pleasure of waking every morning to nothing but birdsong. Walking down to the village to pick up the bread before breakfast. Having a chat with the neighbours and the cows on the way and the sweet smell of coffee. Oh, bliss so far removed from heavy traffic grey skies and grime. It's just a shame we have to return to the UK at the moment to earn enough to live our dream. One day soon we will pack our bags for good and live the good life. Bon Sante
