Every year we hear of more and more disease, new diseases , viruses, burnouts , depressions etc etc. Have you asked yourself the reasons why, at this point we have reached on the planet that is supposed o be evolving??
I worked in the health food industry for most of my life. ( 30 years) At that time, immune deficiency diseases were not so epidemic... . And why do so called rich countries have the most disease.??...What do you think are the causes , because for everything there must be cause. What do you think.??
There is more unhappiness, stress, than ever before in history.. What can we each do individually and as a society..
Let's start with stress, there are many kinds of stress, emotional, nutritional. Each stress and how w handle it will be so personal, and it is how we handle it that will determine the outcome . Let me give you an example. These days many are losing their jobs, Why are there not government programs to come and help and create programs to support these people, emotionally and build up the confidence and health to begin afresh, with new goals , health and hope.
Why are they not teaching how to live starting in gradeschool, how to eat properly, cook, breathe right Wouldwe be too health then and not weak enough so that we can be controlled by the medical system , work system etc etc.
If everyone was so confident we would not accept jobs where the bosses degrade you verbally and sometimes physically??
Why is it always poorer you are , the worse you eat.. no extra money for organic foods, fresh veges..etc.. Should we not be helping the poor get stronger and more able?? What is wrong here??
We also accept the rapidity of society.. no breaks, no time to get fit,. We should have programs of fitness included at work., more time to eat, shorter working hours .. Our society focuses on sicknss ( has your doctor ever asked you why you think you got sick?? ) , not on wellness. Sicknesss keeps us weak, wellness does not..
What would be some of the solutions??
Please share .. just exprssing yourself might begin changing a society for the better..

The word disease means dis-ease. Lack of ease in life. Society is speeding up, consequently we have less and less time to just be. And I see that to just be yourself is not acceptable because there is no time!
Stress is a result of dis-ease. A feeling of pressure because we are unable to cope with what we feel are societies expectations. Expectations of our workplace, our parents, our peers.
This speeding up in the world has been happening over hundreds of yers. We are now in a time where the results of this speeding up is more and more apparent in our health. It's like our body has not evolved to cope with it.
To support our body we need to nourish it, not only with healthy food, but exercise, relaxation, nature nurturing - smelling the roses, being warmed by the sun, walking in a forest. Our body is very organic and needs organic nurturing.
Our emotions are becoming less and less tolerable, both by ourselves and by people around us. We are losing the ability to care and help people in an emotional sense. We are now in a society that takes pills to cure all ills. Regretfully this is not working, yet we have this mindset that pills will cure what is innately an inner cry for help.
In the process of not tending to our biological and emotional needs we are creating a toxic environment that is unbalancing our natural surroundings. We humans are not doing a very good job here!
We are rapidly loosing the knowing that healing comes from within, and we now have a society that has little time to reflect on that simple fact.
Solution - one would be: The next time you meet a friend - look at them, look into them and ask yourself do you really care about your friend. Really care. And then also ask do you really care about yourself. Really care. If you say you do then how do you go about caring for yourself?
Take care.

I believe a lot of our sickness comes from what we feed the animals we eat. All those antibiotics are killing us.

illness and sickness can come from many of things and I agree that stress is the number one cause of many of health issues in todays world. But also when a person comes from one place and moves to another place they carry there surroundings with them. for instance if you live in a big city and used to the populated areas of congestion, and move to the country now you have brought with you the common colds and diseases from that area. Also with foods and products bringing them from other countries they found that rats will get shipped in crates from other countries and mate with the ones in another place and with that makes a new type of disease they carry with there off springs. Same as humans married to someone from another part of the country or a distant country. A new disease and strand is born and new virus has formed. But the foods has so many kinds of poisons and fertilizers to help them maintain there freshness longer for shipping is causing a lot of new problems in our systems. Plus looking at technology today cell phones every where and radiation in the air waves from all the TV's and radios has polluted our air even more.I try to keep calm and composure when it comes to stress and I use my martial arts to help me stay calm and healthy not as much as i should but i still use the mental part to stay focused. Tia-chi has really helped me keep and maintain my self.
