Vitamins can be beneficial for those people who are lacking in certain thing in their diet. Personally, I feel a lot better when I take my vitamins.

Dear Tina, A lot of people think vitamins can replace food, they cannot! In fact, vitamins cannot be assimilated without ingesting food. That is why they should be taken with a meal. Vitamins regulate metabolism, help convert fat and carbohydrates into energy, and assist in forming bone and tissue. Cod liver oil has lots of vitamin A and calcium so it should help you with your joints and it is also a omega fatty acid which is very good for health. If you want to know more about the vitamins and their uses go to http://www.realtime.net/anr/vitamins.html http://kidshealth.org/kid/stay_healthy/food/vitamin.html But always remember that vitamins do not replace nutritious food . You can get all these vitamins from the vegetables and fruits and also from the cereals, grains and pulses we take , but to expect only vitamins to help you out with your problems, will not help at all. All the best
