Raven's good...I prefer all-around works such as those written by the Stewarts (Thw Witches Bible) and those involving seasonal as well as the herbalist approaches.
It's true, though - it can be hard finding the authentic, old spells that really work - and the Italian Witchcraft book had some that were really useful. The Romanys were adept at useful spells!
I haven't leafed through the "Crafting Wiccan traditions" books, so I can't comment on it, but I do recommend that you sit down and think about your own handcrafted, handwritten spells that will carry more of your own power. Using others' work is fine if you're pressed for time, but your own stuff is that much more powerful.
Blessed be ~ Manda.

I really haven't done any spell work yet. I am still learning the basics and history. I have quite a few books now so I am just reading my butt off. I can't believe how fast these books came. I just ordered them on Wed night and they arrived today Sat afternoon.... For some reason which I won't question they upgraded me to overnight express... he must have sensed I needed them ???? lol
Blessed Be, Mari

Where did you order them from? It's a silly coinkidink, but I picked the Italian Witchcraft book for a customer on...Thursday? I work for an Internet fulfillment house that services Amazon, ebay, Alibris Books, and several other booksellers. ;)

I ordered them from Raven's Loft. He even autographs them if you want. I was quite impressed with the quickness of delivery. And the prices seemed comparible to other sites and not signed...lol
