MP3, Help,

Ok, so, MP3 worked fine when plugged into the computer right before the complete system restore, to manufacturer settings. Now, the computer sees the MP3 as a disc...........I can't download, I cant do anything, I cant even charge it. Does anyone have any help for me? How can I make the computer recognize it as a device, rather than a disc? This has me so lost, any advise is totally appreciated!!!!!

if you did a recovery with it plugged in that could have something to do with it, you may want to go into your device manager and find what it is in there and delete it, unplug the device and restart the computer, if you have a disc with drivers run that then hook it up or just hook it up
