Are pizzas getting smaller ?!?

here in our country we have three sizes of pizza. there is solo that is as big as a saucer, regular and family size. so it depends on what pizza are you ordering. if you are going to eat out alone they recomend us to buy the solo, it is affordable. me and wife are pizza lovers but if we are in a budget we just buy solo and share but if we have spare we buy regular.

ohh not just pizza, donuts as well. hamburgers too. some foods does not change in price but it do really gets smaller. some are not affected with the taste but some really taste less as the food gets smaller. sometimes i settle on making home made wink wink

I actually noticed this some time ago. An x-large pizza used to be 18 inches in diameter but now it's 16 inches. Big difference, now a large is 14 and an x-large is 16. That two inches is really quite a bit when you think about it. I guess they did this thinking they could cut back on the size, not raise the price and people wouldn't notice. Well many of us did and then they still raised the price and others gave less toppings. Oh well not much we can do about it.

I guess I'm the exception, I think portions are getting bigger. I had a pizza the other day that was the size of a manhole cover. It was huge! I think my family ate on it for two days.
