Bob Dylan drunk on stage

My husband said he went to a show where it seemed Dylan was drunk on stage. He said it was so bad that he left the show. It was at Michigan State years ago. I told him that it might have been his voice and he couldn't tell the difference. Don't get me wrong, I love the man, but his voice has gotten very bad. I am sure my voice would be like that if I sang that much and from doing all the drugs he's done.
