who is the next AI for you?

From the very first broadcast of this years competitors, I could see the star quality in David Archuleta. He is my first and only choice to win. But I'm rather afraid, simply because of his age and lack of experience, he won't be the last one standing. All I can hope is that the teeny boppers of America vote in droves for him and get him through to the top. Go David. I'm your biggest fan! lol

I've always rooted for the powerhouse voice of Ramiele too bad, she was voted of a little early than i expected and so at this point, I'd go for David Cook. David A is really talented no doubt about it and I'm pretty sure that he's gonna land somewhere between the top 2 slots. Whether he wins AI or not, He's got a great career ahead of him. But David C's originality, unpredictable and risky performance every week really makes me go for him. This season's contestants are really all so way talented and its really tough for them to get through evry week.

I agree with you David Archuleta I think is the best, He sings the best and he is cute as well. He is a wonderful singer on American Idol. I really liked David Johns myself. he was a great singer.I belive he will still do great.

David A is just a sweetheart. Paula said he could sing the phone book and she'd listen - I agree he sings incredibly well. You just have to love him. The top three in my opinion will be David A, David Cook and maybe Carly if she gets her act together this next week. Kristy is picking songs that keep her on the show from week to week, but she should have been gone long ago. Jason will be gone in another couple weeks - he has a contract ahead of him I'm sure.

David Archuleta is my early favorite, but now that there are six contestants remaining, I could say that my American Idol is David Cook. He's a risk taker, and he performs really well. He's a great entertainer, and his talent is really radiating from each of his performances.

I think I must be the only person in America who does not care for either of the Davids. Which is a shame for me because it seems like they will be in the top two for sure. My favorite by far is Jason Castro.

Now that Michael Johns is gone, my bet for the next American Idol is David Cook. He's very consistent with his performances and he just keeps on getting better and better every week. He's a great performer and can take on any genre of songs. He's definitely a rock star!

I really like Carly's voice and her song choices but sometimes she tries too hard. David Archuleta has a great voice, pretty good instincts on song choice and I think he's going to do really well even if he doesn't win. David Cook has grown on me quite a lot. Don't know if he's as totally wonderful as the judges think, but he's quite good. I love Syesha but I think she's maybe had a few too many pitch problems to win. Jason's voice is not so strong but he's made some incredibly smart song choices. Kristy should have been gone long ago but she's made some really smart choices the last couple of weeks and not chosen songs that make her look bad. Brooke is a sweetie and I like her very much but I don't think her voice is strong enough for a win. I think it's beween David A, David C. and Carly. But then I thought Michael Johns would be in the mix and look what happened!

David A. is my favorite as well. I think David Cook is quite good. I would like to see Carly leave at this point.

I really like both David's, but I did NOT like David Cooks rendition of Innocent by Our Lady Smith. I just love that song, & I was actually cringing when he sang it. But I still really think he's a front runner, just a bad song choice. Good song, just not for him! I also really like Brooke's voice (Jolene), & I think I'd probably buy any CD she puts out. She also seems like a real sweetheart. & I also really love Jason (another sweetheart), his version of Travelin' Thru & Hallelujah! Love 'em.
