I have heard more than one political analyst say Rendel would be a very smart choice as VP for Barack Obama. While I do agree logistically and demographically it works out well, after seeing one too many interviews with Rendel, I honestly don't like the guy. Yes perhaps some of this comes from his strong support of Sen. Clinton and my strong support of Sen. Obama. However, I do try to keep an open mind with these things. The first few interviews I chalked it up to the escalating political scuffle. But lately I am starting to really not like the guy at all, making me think he'd be a terrible choice for VP if Obama gets the nomination.
Is it just me or do others feels this vibe? He's your Guv AP, what do you think? Is he a good guy or are my gut instincts right about him?

Here I am, Jormins. You're right,he's my Governor and he's done a good job, in my opinion, even working with an opposition majority in the legislature most of the time. I think I can understand that when you're only seeing him in the national media you may not fully "appreciate" his personality. He was the Democratic National Chairman between being mayor of Phillie and Governor and he was pretty effective in that capacity. My husband works for the state and except for him and his brother his works WITH all Republicans and even they are fairly satisfied with Rendell. Let's put it this way - his approval rating is higher than our fearless leader's 28%.

Yeah I figured you'd be the best source to get the scoop on him. I personally have disliked him more and more that I have seen him but of course he's so tight with Sen. Clinton and this had been a tough primary so I should probably cut him some slack.

I think Governor Rendell has had a friendly relationship with the Clintons since he was President and it seems to me they supporteder him when he ran for Governor so that's why he's supporting Hillary now but I'm sure he'll be a good "team player" in the fall. Also, he's been a lot more fair than most during this whole "bitter" nonsense.
