I like suspense stories. Stephen King writes the best ones (although I think his works are categorized as horror fiction). On the other hand, I also enjoy detective stories. If you haven't tried them yet, I think you should see Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe stories. It's full of humor, a bit of satire and sarcasm, and of course, it keeps you guessing till the end. Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin are the best possible partners in the detective industry. :D

My favourite (fiction) genres are science fiction and fantasy. I also read some thrillers (because they're cheap) and a bit of horror. Non-fiction, I read biographies, history, computer & programming and self improvement books mostly.

I like reading about real life. Autobiographies, biographies... you know... And as strange as it might be, I love reading about serial killers. I like to try to figure out why they did what they did... Example: I've read Helter Skelter [a book about Charles Manson and "the Manson family", the facts behind the murders and the trial], I've also read Manson in His Own Words [Manson's side of the story--as told by Manson to Nuel Emmons.] And I plan to be reading several other books written by other members of "the family." I figure somewhere between what the lawyers and police say is the truth, what Manson says is the truth, and what the other members of the family say is the truth... there lies the actual truth.

I really don't have the time to sit and read anymore. I work seven days a week right now. I used to love to read romance novels when i was younger but I am not sure if I still like them after being married for thirteen years.

i started with Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys and then in high school i got into Sweet Valley High and those love story novels. Now, I'm into John Grisham, Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts novels. I've also read the complete series of Harry Potter. I really love reading, even then when i was a kid. i always get myself occupied with something and if i have nothing else to do, i always look for something to read.

I have eclectic tastes when it comes to books, and will read just about anything - crime, mystery, thrillers, literary, fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, romance, chick lit, philosophy, classics, religious and young adult novels. I find just about every form of writing interesting, and being a writer myself, I love to study different styles of writing.

I like good literary fiction but recently I started reading crime and detective novels and now I am totally addicted to them. I specially like murder mysteries, psychological thrillers and detective books which are part of a series. I am selective about which crime authors I read, because I can only enjoy a story which is well written and credible.

I like Danielle Steele, Sue Grafton, JK Rowlings. I also like non fiction such as David Peltzer. And If you like hot and steamy, try ZANE. I read anything thats interesting if I am not reading one of my faves. I use the best seller list at the library. I like to feel as if I am there. I enjoy learning different facts about history as well.
