What match we try find to select our life partner?

We spend a lot of time to find our perfect match. We think, a perfect match can bring happiness to our life. But my question is what match do we try to find? And why do we compromise about match? thanks

If you are going to find the perfect match, then you are for a long journey to find it. I believe nothing in this world is perfect and that includes people. Each of us, male and female are unique and each of us have our own differences. It's up to us how to respond to those differences and compliment each other.
