There are so many detergents out on the market these days. But its like I am stuck an Gain. I just like the way it smells and it gets my clothes clean. What about you? What is your favorite detergent?

I am a stickly for the old favourites. I use Tide, almost all the time. I sometimes use oxydol and sometimes just sunlight but Tide will always be my favourite.

I just love Gain! And I clean EVERYTHING with it. Even my rug. It is gentle enough for your rug cleaners and it does not leave a residue but does remove the stains. Use a little for cleaning your tub. If your tub is stained it will remove the stain overtime and talk about shine. Forget other cleaners and scouring powders altogether!!! You Gain with Gain. And everything smells so fresh. Oh, and don't forget the Gain softner sheets. Add one here and there to a chair or your sweeper filter! That's my Gain for the day and have a Wonderful Gainfilled Day!!! cdwilkins

I used to use Cheer Free - no dyes and perfumes. I have allergies and I itch with certain detergents and fabric softeners. I have found quite a number of different "green" detergents on the market lately and am trying them out as I find them at a reasonable price or on sale. My latest is an ultra one called "Ecos" supposedly earth friendly. It has a softening effect on the clothes which is nice. I love the smell of clean clothes and find that even with the perfume free detergents, there is still a nice smell.

I like using the new tide cold wash, it works just as well as regular tide but saves me a lot on my electric bill not using hot water.

I used to use whisk but now I use Tide with bleach and have used it for years. It is always a bit cheaper. Whisk has become really exspensive , too much so for me. Tide is always reliable and safe for my clothes. It does takeout the stains so good and is easy to find as its always in stock.
