I search for truth, as well as understanding. Yet, for many it seems the only answer is God and a big full stop. Now i dont mind people satisfying themself with fairy stories if they are happier that way, but surely even they must realise that religion is fantesy and is just the way simple people answer questions that are way behond their limited intellect? Yet, the world over, people die because of religious ideas, isnt it time we drew a line, accepted that all religion is man made, and started searching for answers instead of being fobbed off by the outmoded concept of god?

I am fascianted also and always open to all ideas and concepts. There are so many stories and so many things to think about. It is hard to know what is real and factual unless you experience it yourself ro can trust someone elses experiences too.

God is true & people often get confused with religion as God.It requires maturity to understand this difference. If everybody understands this than will there be any violense here.

The different sects of religion may be man made but faith is not that for me comes from my inner self. When you believe in a higher being be it Wicca, A Heavenly Father or a tea pot it is a great feeling just to believe there is something bigger than mankind.

Well, I suppose you can say the only answer is God but you need to take on board exactly the true meaning of the Name. As in, God is everything, therefore universal. You, I, the dogs, cats, rocks, oceans, ponds, slugs, snails, well everything. At-one-ness with this means that all is God, therefore there is no God as to name this "all-ness" is to objectify it and this cannot be as we cannot step outside of the all or it would not be all - what about the space we are stood in to look at all? Interesting how the Vikings called their god (Odin) the All-father - :-) In Zen we say that the finite mind cannot comprehend absolute truth as it cannot be judged or objectified. But, it can be experienced, but from then, that's it. No explaining will define it, each seeker of truth has to see it for themselves. Uni, means all in universe - we all it, it would be incomplete without either one of us. :-)

Hi,I appreciate UR question. The very meaning of religion is - system of belief in and worship of supernatural power or God. Some people are saying humanity is the best religion. It all depends upon UR faith & belief on God.The religion which is most beneficial to the human society is best religion. In this dynamic world human requirements are growing more & more. For gettinng his requiremnet people are more selfish, more indiscpline, more jealous & more violent. To overcome all the bad element he take the shelter of religion.
