I never have. I've played a lot of Turbografx 16 games that I downloaded off the Wii shop channel, though.

Yes I owned a Turbografx 16 at 1 time and really loved playing the games. The games were not well know but had great game play in them. I owned the games called Splatter House,Bonks Adverture, and Keith Courage(which came with the console. Splatter House is where you look like a guy that is jason vorhees from Friday the 13th and I guess you know what the splatter means now. It was my favorite out of the 3 and is on my all time favorite lists. Bonk Adventure is about a caveman with a big head. Bond was the symbol of the system just like mario has been for the nintendo fransise. Keith Courage was really not that good in my opinion. The games looked tiny and flat(similar to a credit card) that you stick in the system to play. The graphics were great for the times.

Yes, I've played and beaten Splatterhouse and Bonk's Adventure on the Wii. Lately, I've been playing Bonk's Revenge and Neutopia. Those are really good games!

They later made Splatter House 2 and 3 on the Sega Genisis when the Turbo Grafix 16 was no longer making games. I played and owned the third Splatter House on my Sega but thought the first was better. I really wanted to play Splatter House 2 but at the time I kept making excuse to rent other games and never got around to it. I really enjoyed the first Splatter House the best. Also the Turbo Grafix 16 system is very under-rated. I consider a hidden gem that not that many people talked about or heard of. For those times I thought the system had the best graphics out of all the systems. I think the turbo grafix 16 was out before the SNES or Sega Genesis was released. It was actually out at the time when the Original NES was at its most popular. I remember back than when I was a kid looking in a video game magazine and seeing it for sell at $300.

I bought one off a friend for around twenty dollars about fifteen years ago. I haven't bothered to pick up any games for it, though. I think it's in storage with my Genesis and Sega CD right now.

And at that point, the system would've been 4 years old? That's a pretty generous friend, selling it to you for only $20. Why would you buy a system and not buy any games for it though? Just curious.
