My husband and I vote a quarter on who will get kicked off each week. So far he has won 3 quarters from me and I have won 3 quarters from him, so we are tied. We listen on Tuesday night to the singers and then decide on who will be kicked off. Last week I had first pick, but my pick wasn't kicked off. She was in the bottom three though. My husband chose the other girl, so we both lost. (In that case neither one of us pays a quarter). I was a bit surprised the Michael Johns was voted off. I would be interested to know who everyone thinks will be the next contestant to be voted off. Any thoughts?

We DVR american idol and watch it when my husband gets home from work. We always make our guess who will get voted off at the beginning of the show. I was very disappointed to see Michael Johns get voted off already. I think he was too actually. I had a bit of a "spoiler" since when I logged into my Yahoo mail earlier in the evening, it mentioned him being voted off! So when I watched the show, I was very tempted to guess correctly and fool my husband, but couldn't do it haha. I may cheat again this week just because I can't handle the suspense and I end up crying with the contestants - hey this is supposed to be fun

How did you get that spoiler about Michael Johns being voted off? I've searched the internet looking for clues and the best I came up with was Carly and Sayesha were in the bottom three.

We are on the west coast and it airs somewhere around three hours later here than on the east coast. So I can find out ahead of time. And you know someone from the east coast is going to post in as soon as possible somewhere - but usually it's in Yahoo or somewhere major.

I guess that wouldn't help me much since I live in the Eastern Standard Time zone. I usually get the right people into the bottom three, but Michael Johns leaving was a surprise to me. We record AI on Tivo, then watch it after it gets more than half over with. Then we watch it without having to put up with all the other nonsense and commercials.

American Idol is the highlight of life for my hubby and I (sad I know, lol). We just love David A. I just melt when I hear that young mans voice. He will go places. We love the show and watch it every year. :)

I'll be listening tonight and then trying to decide who will be voted off. I would love to have your opinion on that after tonight!

I ave watched American Idol every year. Last yeat I was very disappointed in how it ended. I thought Blake should have won. This year they all are each different and makes it very hard. I think Kristy Cook will be the one to go. She seems to do very well with Country but any other Genre she struggles with. I was very sorry to see Michael Johns go he had a very unique voice. I for would would buy any Cd he puts out.

Michael Johns did sing pretty good, but he wasn't one of my favorites. My favorite all along has been David Archuleta. I did like Michael Johns Australian accent. He was very likeable.
