hi pinky-that is so bad, can sympathise as at one time i did lose my hair and have temporary alopecia-it made me so upset as at one time my hair was long and thick, but after losing it i had to wear wigs etc-what i did was see a hair scalp specialist who prescribed me a cocoa cream and a special shampoo which did actually help my hair to grow back-also tea tree shampoo helps, massaging your scalp should help and also your diet-good healthy foods-i really hopee there is someone on mylot that can give you even more advice-seek medical help though if you haven't already-blessed be littleowl

Hair loss could be from anything. Has it been cold then gotten warmer where you live recently? I know I "shed" more when the weather heats up. Also if you have dyed your hair recently, you could have damaged it causing it to fall out. Try a new shampoo - any brand - or take vitamins.

Have you been doing anything different this past one month Pinks? changed your hair oil or shampoo or anything? Have you been riding on the bike with loose hair? Have you changed any routine of yours? Were you sick, about two / three months back? You must have doe something for your hair to get upset with you. Think about it and find out the reason. Psychological stress, trauma in the body, or any stress that leads you to experience hormonal changes or imbalance is also identified as a source of hair loss. Once the changes in the body are normalized, hair growth will return back to normal. If you have no apparent reason but still losing lots of hair, it would be better for you to contact your doctor immediately to determine the cause. If no reason for stress is identified and you are not suffering from medication side effects, it could possibly a sign of a disease. I am not scaring you. Think about it and then tell me.

well thats sad. to start with are you from a country which is very hot, as believe it or not the heat cold effect hair fall and i would suggest to start with start covering your hair when you goout in the sun. next could really be the shampoo you are using so change it may be to something real mild, that has helped me a real mind shampoo with not a lot of fragrence would help. hope this helps dear.

A certain amount of hair loss is considered normal, but that is just a few hairs a day in washing or brushing. However, if you are losing a lot because of tangles, I would either suggest a separate conditioner or shampoo/conditioner combination. That way your brush or comb will easily go through your hair without the pulling and extra loss of hair. Also, there are deep conditioners that you can apply once in awhile (like hot oil treatments) that help to strengthen the hair shaft. And most of all, take your vitamins to improve your bodies health, which includes your hair and nails.
