Yes because a drunk man hit my mom and me when I was just a little kid so I am still afraid to drive since I might hit someone or get myself into accident.

Thanks for response. Things happen whether we like it or not. I'm sorry to hear that. We can overcome our fears slowly by slowly. If we really need to drive. We need to do it.

i used to be scared on driving. when i was in the philipines my sister tried teaching me how to drive and i get so scared plus the fact that you gotta learn the clutch and all that, but when i got here in the states i learn in just 5 days. This is because at the back of their DMV (dept of motor vehicle) you can practice freely without any pedestrian that will cross anytime.

Aww, don't feel bad! I'm nineteen and I've had my instructional permit for almost five years now! I still can't drive. It's terrible, but I just get so neervous behind the wheel. I don't like driving! It's a very nerve wrecking experience! Take your time and don't rush it.

Oh my, it is scary for me too! Traffic here in Manila, Philippines is just too bad and the cars drive by too close to each other that I feel suffocated (and really scared) every time we're on the road. I really wish that I can drive by myself, but overcoming this fear is too much for me.
