Oh no. I am not into horror films but I have a friend that likes them.Question. If you didn't see the original would Prom Night still be predictable?

I did not see the original, so yes.. I would say that the film is massively predictable.

No, I haven't seen prom night because the previews made it look predictable but I wonder if scary movies will ever stop being predictable. I haven't seen a really good scary movie in a while because they all seem to have a plot that has been used before.

I would imagine that just an earnest effort to be original and creative would make many of these films original.
I think the biggest reason why they are made so poorly, is because they are targeted to young teens that may bot be highly exposed to many films of this genre. Yet even still, these are not even good "imitations" of good horror flics.

No I actually haven't seen it but I want to see it because I like Brittany Snow and she seems like an average actress. I rarely watch scary flicks like this because I get scared easily but maybe I'll watch it and get to see how predictible it is. ^_^

I dont think that Snow was allowed the liberty to create her own acting style. The film was too formulaic for that...
But believe or not.. this thing is insufferingly predictible...
