So...a fellow co worker of mine was at her boyfriends house when a tornado hit it! They took cover in a hallway and survived without any injuries. His house was completely destroyed and her car was crushed by a tree! Her cell phone was ripped out of her hand and found 3 blocks away! I couldn't imagine. I live in 'tornado alley' and have seen several...but have never been in one. I would like to hear other survival stories of you or your acquaintances. This kind of stuff just blows my mind...the kind of stuff that makes you grateful for what you have

That is scary. Years ago I use to sell magazines door to door around the country. One day we got caught up in a Tornado and drove like a bat out of hell to get away from it. It was scary but at the same time thrilling. Glad I wasn't as close as your co-worker was.
