My poodle sometimes barks when she is sleeping, and other times she just wake scared, and look for someone. I'm positive that they can dream.

Oh, yes, dogs can dream. My dogs dream almost everytime they go to sleep. Sometimes they will move their legs as if they are running and sometimes they bark or growl. It's really funny to watch.

There is no doubt in my mind what-so-ever about this one. Yes, dogs do dream. My dog even growls in her sleep sometimes. Other times she does her legs like she's running. :-)

I believe they do dream. My dogs bark or whine when they are asleep. I even saw my puppy one time moving her feet like she was running. It was pretty funny and cute.

I am pretty sure they do. My dog used to sometimes react when she was sleeping. She would sometimes twitch and move in such a way that she was definately dreaming something.

Isn't REM stage the dream cycle? If it is, I definitely think they dream. Sometimes when dogs sleep, they jerk and their eyes move around. Very similar to us when we are in REM sleep. I also heard though you can't dream if you don't have language. Do dogs have language?
