I was wondering how old other Neopets players were as although the game was origionally intended for kids i know that a lot of grown ups (big kids, lol!) play it too. I really do wonder what the age of the oldest Neopets player is. Do you reckon there's someone who's like someone who is 100 out there playing Neopets?

The game was originally created for college students. That's why there is a Neopian economy and very advanced ideas under the cartoonish-ness of the site. I'm 28 and a total Neopets addict. I've met others there who are in their early 20's to late 40's, so there is a wide age range of people who play.

I am almost 35 years old and started playing Neopets 3-4 years ago. I do have to confess that I have not been to Neopets for about 5-6 months now. I guess my 4 Neopets are skeletons by now LOL. I do not know why I play that site any longer as it is so hard to obtain the forum badges and to collect all of the cards, shells, tokens, stamps, and other collectibles. I love that site and the idea, but they have allowed the users to mess with the "price" of things (stamps, cards, food, etc) that it makes it difficult for non-addicts and new folks from collecting complete sets of anything.

The Big Pink Meepit! - Ewe, that blinking eye is a bit scary!
Well, I am old enough to vote, drink, fire a weapon and operate heavy machinery but I am far from collecting social security lol. There is an over 65 guild at the site that's made up of grandparents. I think that is soooo cool that they are online and at a site with their grandkids.

I am 37 and I found neopets in 2000 or 2001 for the first time and then forgot about it for a while cuz I never put it on my favorites and a few years after that I made a new account cuz I could not remember what my account name was but I remembered the pets name so I went looking for the pet and was able to get my account back.. this was before the birthday rule was put into affect.. you know if you do not log in for 60 days you automatically have to put in your birthday to get into the account.. when they first came up with that rule they had it set to 6 months then they up and changed it to 60 days with out telling their players that they changed it. Anyway I still play at neopets and so does my mother and my children. My sister is one of the few who thinks its just for kids.

I turn 31 in september and I've been playing neopets for about 6 years (July 10th will make 7 years), and I have no intention of stopping any time soon. I find its a great way to release stress and keep calm when things get hectic.
