I thought the Devil wears Prada was an excellent movie with a message. The message being you cant give yourself entirely to your occupation or whtever you are obcessed with and that you need to remain true to who you are. She was much happier at the end of the movie when she threw her cell phone away and became the woman she truly was. My question is Do you think she got back together with her man or not? At the end of the movie it was ambigious what was going to happen.

Exactly what I was gonna say Read the Book!! The book was soooo much better than the movie... They left way too much out that would have made for and even better movie. Not that I didnt enjoy the movie but I really wish I had seen it first then read the book.

i agree wiy u.. there's really a big big difference.. i8t's like the only similarities were their names and jobs in runway fashion mag.. but amidst the difference, i still enjoyed the movie and the book.. =D

I've been dying to see this
movie.
I never got around to renting it
after it came out.
But recently, I saw Ann Hathaway
in Get Smart and loved that movie.
So maybe I should watch her in the Devil
wears Prada.
We'll see.
As for the man, I guess the movie leaves
that up to the viewer to decide in his or her
own mind.

I've seen the movie on a plane. I've watched it twice in one sitting and i liked it very much. Maybe because i have a heart for fashion. Well, i wasnt able to read the book, i dont think i have to read it. For sure, Andy got in to the job she really wanted. And Miranda stayed as bossy as she is.

I have not read the book so don't know either but I would say it seems like she does from the way the film ended - I really enjoyed the film too! x

I must get book somehow, i see all of u are recommmending it! I saw movie twice, by myself, and with my best friend, movie is completly great! Very good message trouyght the whole movie. Its hilarius but not one of the 'shallow' movies about girls and careers. Recommending it
