Toilet Seats

Ok everybody, here is a question for everyone. In your house who's job is it to make sure the toilet seat is up or down. In my wifes bathroom it must be down so when i got my own bathroom i though it should be up. Who has the job and why

I think the toilet seat should be down....not only does it look better but who knows when a woman will use it next and fall in......its etiquette
