How well do sisters really get along?

me and my sister get along well with each other although she's 12 years older than me, we talk about certain issues as if we are of the same age.Ü i love my sister so so much, i could not imagine life without my sister.Ü

My sister is my best friend and always has been,she is 8 yrs.older so growing up I know at times I was a pain for her.We have never had a fight or even been close to being mad at each other and I think that is great,I have other fiends that fight with their sister all the time and I tell them I just don't understand. I could not imagine my life without her and almost lost her a couple of yrs. ago due to a car wreck I don't think I ever prayed so hard. I only have the one but to me she is the BEST.Have a great day!

wow. 5 sisters and you get along with them well. good for you... i have 1 older sister and a younger brother. my sister and i have a year gap between us. we get along fine, but there are moments where we just get into each others skin. i guess its because shes older than i am? i dont know. when we were kids, sibling rivalry played a part in our bad behavior against each other. i felt that i always have to compete with her in a lot of things. not that i dont love her because family is the most important thing to me, and i would do anything for them. it's probably because deep down were sort of the same, a little bit dominant in our own right. hehehe... but now that were a bit older, in respect to her i give her way since shes older, i realized that i dont need to compete with her since she has her own way and i have my own. she has a loud personality around everyone and i choose to be loud with the circle that i am most comfortable with wich makes it seem for other people that im mean at times but minor misinterpretation on both parts i guess. she has her good and bad traits and i have mine. still, from time to time, we butt heads but nothing that time and a little bit of compromise cant heal.
