I'm so upset cause my seven year old is always emotional for everything . I've took him to the doctor and they said that he was adhd bu ti don't think thats wrong with him. is it something kids go through. i need advice . i have even signed him up for therapy and that s not going so good. he still gets nightmares and he pees the bed. i ask him whats wrong with him and he does not want to tell me . he does bad in school and he never want to go .what should i do

You need to bring him to a pediatrician (a different one than the one he normally see) and have them recommend a psychiatrist that only treats kids. You child does not sound like he is ADHD. To me it sounds like something bad has happened to him that he does not know how to cope with. Is there a family member that he may open up to?

You should keep trying to talk to him and get him to open up to you. Let him know you are there for him and that what ever it is you will help him through it and won't be mad. My ten year old is always emotional, but she has gone through alot in her life. Her dad was in her life, then out for like three years, then back again. There is something that is causing your child to be this way and if doctors can't figure it out it's up to you. Sometimes they just need to know you will be there for them and that you will help them through whatever it is before they open up to you. I hope everything works out!
