Mylot slowly becoming MyLord

hi, i am a new user too,my state is just like you that always run out of idea to think out a discussion or get a best respond . i have contact with mylot is by occusion.i join a english community where my friend recommend mylot to me. he said mylot will be my best english teacher. my english is so limited so i cannot understand the profile of mylot fully.i donnot know what to discuss.i try to post response to other people's discussion when i found i nearly spend seval hours to a response.so every time i read some best response and note down them in piece of paper from which i learn many good sentences and words. after this i choose a discussion and note down what i want to say then come back to computer to finish my response. i think i will do well after a long time practice. buck up!

i am a new user.i have a lot of time to spend on the internet.i join in the mylot to practise my english.i have the same problem just like you:i begin to think how to start a best discussion and how to get the best respone.i even think of it when i get to sleep. i respond to some discussions i interest in .then i post some discussions at start. but after few days i fell i have ran out of my idea.so now i choode the topic for discussion. note down things in piece of paoer then come back to computer to finish.i respond a discussion per day. and note down a best respond to learn.

Sounds like a description of my dad lol. Hes always saying hey this would make a good discusion i just laugh. Lucky for me hes my referal lol. Me I try not to think about mylot all the time but its getting harder I will admit.

For more than a week now, I've been responding to posts with no responses. And today on this category, your post struck me the most. As I have stated in a lot of my discussions and discussions where I respond to, I only have the opportunity to access the internet here in the office and more often, I visit myLot on a daily basis. This is because I still don't have my own personal computer at home but my husband and I do intend to buy a complete set of computer not only for the both of us, but more so for our two year old daughter. Everyone knows that a computer is no longer a luxury nowadays but a necessity particularly for those who are studying and working. Anyway, I agree to your statement that myLot has taken us by storm. Take myself, for instance, during weekdays when I'm in the office, I'm itching to open the myLot website even before lunch time. You see, there is an unwritten rule here in the office that personal stuff should be done only during coffee breaks and lunch breaks and after office hours. So, we are only allowed to access the net for personal usage during lunch time. And that means I only have a limited time to post discussions and respond to them, too. Due to this, I only get to respond to a couple or three posts daily on an average. And what more, during weekends, when I could not open the site. Computer rentals would be an answer but it's very costly; plus the fact that I am a married woman who gets to spend longer quality time with my own family only during weekends when I don't have to go to the office. There are days that I would catch myself thinking of ideas and topics to post here in myLot. You could say that myLot is already a hobby for me.
