I currently live in Japan. It depends on the Japanese if he/she is friendly or not.
I know alot of Japanese people some of them Friendly while others are not. Sometimes moody. Most of the time I see foreigners being discriminated. Even japanese people bully japanese. The percentage of an unfriendly japanese is higher than friendly.

Japan and it's culture are one of my favourites. I'd love to visit there somedasy, but, I can't afford it right now =(. So I'll just have to make do with eating yakitori!

I have been to Japan and I got to meet a lot of people...teachers, students, teenagers, parents...and i got to interact with them as well.. i went there as an exchange student so I was really immersed in the culture and way of living. I stayed there for 27 days...and i can say that the japanese are really friendly people. They're really kind..They would really go out of their way to help people although the language barrier can be a problem

I have never been to Japan. I have never been anywhere outside of the United States actually. I would love to go and visit other places if I could but I do not have the funding for it. I would sure hope that the Japanese are friendly to the Chinese people but who knows these days.

I've never been to Japan. But I think the Japanese nowadays are the different generation than the 2WW. They don't care about whether you are chinese or not and basically they know little about all the facts that happened during 2 world war. This is because the japanese government had publised a different version about 2 world war in their text book. So all the other facts about Japanese during 2 world war is made unknown to their young generation.
So nowadays, if a chinese have the chance to go to Japan, I think that the chinese will find that the japanese there treats them almost like other nationality.
