I don't buy clothes people give them to me actually. I have no money and I have a hard time to pay my rent and my bills per month. If you can afford one fourth of your income on clothes if you can afford it and nothing is remaining unpaid because of it then it is okay.

I am not sure what is "normal" to spend on clothes? I would say a 1/4 of your income is a bit high.
I probably only spend about 10% of our income on clothes, but to be accurate I would have to average it out over a few months.

I hardly ever get to buy new clothes. I buy some clothes about twice per year. I buy them once in the summer and once in the fall of the year. I have to watch how much I spend also. I have to make sure that my husband and my daughter get things too and it costs alot of money these days.

I spend arund 5,000 to 7,000 a year on clothes. This is between my sons and I. WE don't spend this much ever year, we shop by season and just get new things we either want or if we need a new seasonal outfit.

haha, luckily i'm not doing that with my money. I only spend RM300 = 100USD for clothes per year. Probably i'll puchase new clothes before Chinese New Year.
