yes, i agree with you. Me too thinking of life is not fair. But what we can do is to look positive and work towards our goals. Never think of negative things, but keep reminding yourselves about the good things. Life is fair only to those who really work hard for it. Thanks for sharing this discussion, very nice~

Your right, and that's also how I describe how life is. It does depend on how you run your life, you live carefully (not carelessly), life would more likely to turn out the way you it to be. It's all depends on how one lives there life. Usually the people who thinks life is not fair, is when the way their life is not turning out the way they want it to be.

I dont think that life is not fair. LIFE IS FAIR, Why?
I will tel you, What is life - what we do or have done or will be doing, day to day work. If sometime we dont put all our effort to do something. The work will not be completed or it wil not be successful. Then we will say " not fair" .... not done right.
Life gives us equal chance. LIVE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE

There are times when I feel that life seemed to be unfair..
when i imagined those poor people who can't even buy food or have a descent shelter for them to live, begging on the streets as their means to find even a penny to pacify their children's hunger...
while there are rich people who seeme to have no problems at all as they can have whatever they want and still unsatisfied with what they have and resort to hoarding more riches for themselves...
If i imagine this picture or reality, I would think that life is unfair... but once you are a believer and have strong faith, whatever riches others may have, with what little you own, you know you are rich because you are satisfied with it and is HAPPY..
Life could be fair only if one has strong FAITH in his own capabilities and in what he/she can do to make LIFE better...

I definitely do not think life is fair at all. I used to think life was kind of fair when I was younger than 10 years old but I have felt like it has been unfair every since then. I have tried to live a good life and make it fair for my family but it never works out that way.

I agree with what you say, but in the other way I think its quite fair. Those people who are born in the rich families may not be rich forever and they may not be happy.
Those born in very poor families learn the hard ways which may be better for their future and they may be happy. those disable will have most of the attention from family member which other normal person might not get.

You post some interesting discussions...and I like this one because it gets my 'thinker' going. Good job my friend.
A question like this is rather subjective but to give a simple answer...no, to all outward appearances life does not seem fair. Unjust things happen to just people...bad things happen to good people...the rich get rich...the poor get poorer...all of those events and so many more are undeniable realities.
Having said that I see life through a much bigger lens than just the outer appearance of things. Within my spiritual beliefs I see each person on a soul path towards enlightenment.
Some things happen through the cause and effect of the choices made...other times things occur that seem beyond our direct control. Within the framework of soul path experiences what seems 'unfair' outwardly can often teach the greatest lessons. In my view it all comes down to choices.
We may not have control over what happens TO us...but we always have control over HOW WE RESPOND. In my view it is our responses that determine our soul growth. So whether it is "fair or unfair" we can always learn and hopefully become stronger, better and yes, more enlightened through any of life's experiences...if we choose to.
Just my perspective of course....(smiles.)

Hi, I guess all kids think that life is not fair, as they are not allowed to do so much that they want to do, so they think it is not fai. I think life is what you make it so life is really in your hands fair or not.

I have never thought it's fair before. So I don't think of it now because there is no use for our life.No matter is fair or not we still have to do the things we should do.
So I think there is no need to care of it and just do the things we like and make ourselves have a happy life.

Yes , life is fair . If you get more in one respect , you will certainly get less in another respect . Maybe somebody looks like happy , otherwise somebody looks like sad . Just coz the former has seen his advantages but the latter has seen his disadvantages .

I don't think life is fair for everybody, but we should never ever complain it.There are many reasons to explain. The most important reason I consider is uselessness.Everything people do is rather than complainment. At one aspect life is fair which is structure we are made of.

life is what we make it (though it is not true for everyone) when things go horrible wrong or just a little unpleasant we need to find ways to reason. some of us choose faith in religion or other have a really possitive way of thinking. i like to think life is unpredictable.

Same as you Lynn. When I was small, I have no qualms about life nad take it as a normal child do and enjoy it. But now that I have a lot of responsibility and we want to live life happy, contented and nicely, we tend to compare our life with others and we encounter much more obstacles. Some of these obstacles are hard and thats why we say as an adult that life is unfair.

I have always known life wasn't fair (i have 3 siblings)and my parents always told us that life is not meant to be fair you just make the best of it and go on.I guess you could pout and complain but that would only make you miserable and not change a thing!
